Trail description
This ride begins in Brixen im Tale at the point where the Dorfstraße and Unterer Sonnberg roads intersect. Follow route 265 along the road in a northerly direction along a tarmac path through fields and meadows to Oberer Sonnberg. After 3.1 kilometres and 350 vertical metres you will pass the settlement of Nieding and continue in a westerly direction to the car park at Hochbrixen. Cross the Jodlbach and Kernbach streams and take two sweeping corners up to the top of the lifts in Hochbrixen. After passing the top lift station, continue through fields to the Filzalmsee lake. To the west of the lake is the Filzalm hut, which has a charging station for e-bikes. Riders then continue across Filzboden, past the Filzbodenbahn ski lift and onto a forest trail (relatively flat) into the Marchwald forest and on to the Silleralm hut at around 1,180 metres above sea level. From the Silleralm hut, the route heads gently uphill and then later downhill across the Salvenbach stream. After Hochbrixen and the Magical Witches' Water adventure area, there are just two more kilometres to go. Head back along the same route to the starting point in Brixen im Tale.
