The Teäre Line above Sölden is a super-flowy, super-smooth piece of singletrack designed to give intermediate riders the downhill experience without the downhill risk. It takes its somewhat curious name from the Ötztal dialect word "Teäre" meaning "stubborn". This 7km purpose-built trail runs gently from the mid-way station of the Galislachkoglbahn cable car through open glades and meadows, including over 130 bends, turns and small features, down to the village of Sölden. More advanced riders can let it roll and enjoy the flow at higher speeds. The Teäre Line really does cater for downhill enthusiasts of all abilities, from beginners all the way through to experts.

Trail description
The adventure starts with a ride on the Gaislachkogelbahn cable car. Riders should get off at the mid-way station and then stay to the right. They will soon reach a stone archway marking the entrance to the Bike Republic Sölden. A short descent along the Eebme Line takes riders to the start of the Teäre Line, which is marked with a large stone pyramid.
Right from the first few metres the trail is flowy and rolling. It crosses a road on several occasions, though each crossing is clearly signposted. The middle section is made up of a fun and flowy series of turns and bridges: left, right, left, right, etc.
The Teäre Line finishes at the road next to the Rauth Alm hut. Less experienced riders can take the road back to the bottom of the cable car, while advanced riders can opt for the challenging singletrack shared by hikers and mountainbikers. This also takes them back to the bottom of the cable car.
