Trail description
The ride begins in the north of Zirl, at the point where the underpass crosses beneath the main road leading around the village. Ride uphill along the road towards Hochzirl. Shortly after the third corner, turn right onto a twisting dirt road leading into the Brunntal Valley. Follow route 543 for around three kilometres. At around 1,150 metres above sea level, cross the Ehnbach stream and continue on the other side of the stream in a southerly direction. After around one more kilometre, take the corner sharp left and follow the trail for another 700 metres towards Paffersmahd. Then turn sharp right. From here the route leads via a series of switchback corners in an easterly direction up to the Neue Magdeburger Hütte.
Return along the way you came.
