Traditional wooden huts and a crystal-clear alpine lake make this e-bike ride from Ehrwald to the Ehrwalder Alm hut and on to the turquoise Seebensee lake a fabulous experience. With a little battery boost the 719 vertical metres are quickly climbed. At the top of the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car you can charge your e-bike. Those who have energy left after riding up to 1,658 metres above sea level can continue on foot to the Drachensee lake and the adjacent Coburger Hütte.

Trail description
The ride begins at the bottom of the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car and leads up past the Brentalm hut, following MTB trail 813 in an easterly direction. The route continues up along the tarmac road through forest, parallel to the Rappenbach stream, all the way to 1,460 metres above sea level. From there it is just 690 metres more in a south-easterly direction to the Ehrwalder Alm. At the top of the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car there is the option of charging your e-bike. Follow trail 813 gently uphill, past the Berggasthof Alpenglühn. At the Gaisbach stream you enter the forest once again. The trail then leads past the Igelsee lake towards Seebenwände. After 3.6 kilometres you reach the Seebenalm hut at 1,580 metres. Take the trail to the Seebensee lake (1km, 80 vertical metres). Return along the same route.
