On this 20 kilometer long stage you have plenty of time to warm-up your muscles. the first part is a speedy downhill track, followed by a demanding uphill trail to Raitiser Alm – which requires a good physical shape. The trail continues with almost no change in elevation towards Mutterer Alm and then downhill to the beautiful village of Mutters.
- The gently rolling asphalt path travels northwards along the railroad on the western side of the entrance to the Stubai Region. Leaving behind the hamlet of Kohlstatt, you reach a panoramic gravel path of intermediate difficulty.
- A strenuous uphill trail takes you to Raitiser Alm where a refreshment stop is strongly recommended before you pedal towards Mutterer Alm. From here a winding gravel path leads down to Mutters.
