From lovely Mayrhofen the scenic Bike Trail Tirol travels towards the village of Lanersbach located at 1281 meters above sea level. This 15-kilometer long stage of intermediate difficulty leads right to the heart of Tuxertal’s cultural and economic center.
- This splendid route takes you from Mayrhofen, situated at the rear end of Zillertal Valley, to the picture-book Tux Alps and its breathtaking panorama.
- The Bike Trail Tirol follows the old and narrow asphalt road from Mayrhofen towards Ginzling and Gasthaus Jochberg Inn. Here you turn into the steeply rising asphalt trail leading to Finkenberg. A gravel path and a short section where you must push the bike await you between Gfahl and Vorderlanersbach.
- From Vorderlanersbach you reach Tux either on the main road or you cross Tuxer Joch saddle leading to Wipptal Valley. Alternatively you can also take the path from the south via scenic Geiseljoch ridge and Weidener Hütte down to Weerberg, towering above the Inntal Valley.
