Starting at the 500-year old Kaiserhaus you follow well-maintained forest trails and a few asphalt tracks for about 32 kilometers. This magnificent tour for nature explorers is of intermediate difficulty.
- Before you start the tour you are strongly recommended to walk down (on foot) to awe-inspiring Kaiserklamm Ravine where you can marvel at the rushing white waters of Brandenberger Ache which has formed a narrow gorge.
- In the first section you have to conquer a couple of quite steep uphill stages, followed by gently rolling downhill passages and very short ascents on your way to scenic Kufstein.
- Historical Achenseebahn Cog Railway connects Maurach to Inntal Valley from where regular intercity trains leave towards Innsbruck or Kufstein. From Thiersee you can shortcut this stage by pedaling on the road to Kufstein's train station. Kufstein makes a perfect place to start, end or interrupt the tour. Also Kiefersfelden is a well-loved trailhead.
