From peace and quiet to fun and action, the "Badesee Ried" swimming lake between Ried and Prutz in the Tiroler Oberland offers something for everyone on hot summer days.
The lake is particularly popular with families thanks to its many child-friendly activities, including a giant 40m slide wide enough to accommodate several people at a time. Out on the water there is the Action Tower XXL, Balance Beam and Wibit Flip for adrenaline junkies of all ages. The water in the Badesee Ried is clean enough to drink and comes from the same storage reservoir which provides households in Ried with drinking water.
Along the eastern shore of the lake there are several sunbathing lawns and a family-friendly swimming area with a large pirate ship, a pirate treehouse, an eagle’s nest and a Goliath swing. After all that action, why not explore the lake in a pedalo?
