SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

Witches, igloos and warm indoor play areas make the ski resort of Wilder Kaiser - Brixental a fun and exciting destination for families. The ski area brings together three resorts - Wilder Kaiser, Brixental and Hohe Salve - to form a huge interconnected network of lifts and pistes.

Families with children will be spoilt for choice in the beautiful mountains of the Wilder Kaiser. This ski area between Hopfgarten in the Brixental Valley and Ellmau offers plenty of easy slopes, separate beginners's pistes and, for those with more experience on snow, a funpark with halfpipes, kickers and rails. Down at the bottom of the resort, next to the cable car, you will find a Kids' Club where babies and toddlers are looked after by a team of friendly childcare experts. Older children can explore the indoor play area while their parents are out on the slopes. Further up the mountain, in Hochsöll, there are all manner of witches and other fearsome beings at the "Hexenwasser" play area. Keep your eyes open and you may even see a witch whizz past on skis! Last but not least, we recommend a visit to the Alpine Igloo Village at the top of the ski lifts in Hochbrixen, where a super-cool drink at the super-cool ice bar awaits as well as an exhibition of ice sculptures by some of the world's best ice artists.
