The Best Road Cycling Events in 2024

Cyclists around the world look forward to Tirol’s bike racing season. Many of the country’s road cycling races in the summer of 2024 cater for serious competitors, but they also have shorter and less intense routes for more casual pedalers.

At the heart of Tirol’s biking event calendar for more than 30 years has been the Ötztal Cycling Marathon. This terrific road cycling race features a 238-kilometre route with a gruelling 5,500 metres of elevation gain. One of the world’s toughest feats of endurance, the “Race Across The Alps” is a non-stop, one-day, ultra-distance cycling race.
