The inaugural Tirol³ Nordic Challenge combines three existing events as part of the brand-new Nordic Race Series: The Dolomites Run, the Ganghofer Race and the Galtür Nordic Volumes.
Held for the first time in 2025, the Tirol³ Nordic Challenge is a wonderful combination of three of the biggest and most prestigious Nordic ski races throughout Tirol, the Dolomites Run, the Ganghofer Race and the Galtür Nordic Volumes. This new three-event XC ski race series emphasizes fun for all ages and abilities and aims to benefit skiers and the sport as a whole. You may race as many or as few races as you want; however, you need to participate in at least one of three races per season to qualify. Everyone who successfully finishes a race of any distance will receive special awards and discounts on entry fees.
Participants will receive medals and certificates in Gold, Silver and Bronze based on their finished distance. Individual starters racing in the Gold category as well qualify for cool prizes like hotel vouchers, which will be raffled at the end of the season. The main award of the Tirol³ Nordic Challenge, however, is a team endeavour: The victory is a weekend for up to 20 people in one of the three participating areas of Tirol, including a „training camp“ to prepare for the upcoming season.
The top man and women skiers will win the coveted Cup Champion title.
