Already considered a cult classic, this competition has developed a reputation as Tirol’s wildest and wittiest ski competition.
The "White Rush" pits winter sports buffs against St. Anton’s legendary expert terrain, from the top of 2,645-meter Valluga Ridge to the valley, dropping 1,350 meters in elevation. This event is a must-see for those wishing to witness the effects of a long winter in the scenic Arlberg Region.
Racing start is at 5:00pm. The prizes are awarded two hours later and then the “White Rush Party” kicks in. The race marks the end of winter season at Arlberg Ski Area with ski lifts closing in the afternoon. Brave kids and youth aged 11 to 16 can compete in the “Mini White Rush”.
