Strongly connected to the town of Hall and its people, the Sprachsalz Festival features local, national and international authors, writers and audiences each year – this year, Sprachsalz celebrates its 20th anniversary.
At the centre of local, national and international debate, the Festival features some of the most intelligent, creative, and cutting edge thinkers of today. The Festival is strongly connected to the town of Hall and its people and takes place over three days from September 9 to 11, 2022. The anniversary festival features South Korean author Kim Hye-Jin, German filmmaker and writer Doris Dörrie and Colombian storyteller Tomás González.
For their dedication and their outstanding contributions, the festival organizers have received the US-American Acker Award. The Acker Awards is a tribute given to members of the avant-garde arts community who have made outstanding contributions in their discipline in “defiance of convention”, or else served their fellow writers and artists in outstanding ways. There are creative writing practice clinics for adults and young persons.
