In the finish stadium of the 2001 World Alpine Ski Championships, visitors will experience a multi-media time travel show through the history of skiing, featuring instructors from the local Arlberg Ski School and the New School Team of the Arlberg Ski Club. Titled ‘The Snow Must Go On’, St. Anton stages a journey through the development of skiing and technology over the course of the decades. The 45-minute presentation effortlessly interweaves through historical developments of skiing from its beginnings to the present day using the latest technology. The spectacular ski show offers daring displays of skiing prowess followed by a huge firework display. Pro local skiers and riders display different techniques, perform death-defying jumps and glide down the hill in historical costumes and with lit torches and flags. The show is an electrifying evening of live entertainment to enjoy with family and friends and takes place on December 30, 2024 and every Wednesday evening until April 02, 2025, at 9:00pm.
