The 12th Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail is an up to 106 kilometer race in scenic Pitztal Valley’s mountains. Experience the wonderful and demanding challenge and join us in Mandarfen in August.
In early August, recreational and professional runners will make the annual pilgrimage to Mandarfen to enjoy a great workout with stunning views of Pitztal Valley’s mountains. Runners will navigate logging roads, singletrack and Alpine tundra over mountain passes at more than 3,000 meters during the 12th Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail on August 03, 2024. There are seven different courses to choose from, ranging from 16 kilometers for the less energetic to the extremely difficult and highly competitive 106K run. Now in its twelfth year, the focus of the race is the experience: the striking beauty of the mountain environment, the burn of high elevation, and the reward of finishing right where you started, in the village of Mandarfen. Moreover, the Trail Food Festival will be held once again. Little ones aged 3 to 12 can participate in the “P Kids” Trail Run.
