The most intense and exciting freeride venues in Austria highlight the Open Faces Freeride Tour’s line-up for 2025. With six stops in Austria, Open Faces sets the standard for freeriding events, as the best skiers and snowboarders compete against themselves and the mountain. Three Tirol venues will play a key role in the tour, with Kappl in Paznaun Valley as the second tour stop from January 24 to 26, 2025 with a 3* Qualifier along with a 2* Junior Contest .
And this year even gets better for uprising talents: From January 12 to 16, 2025, Kappl will once again play host to the Freeride Junior World Championships. Coming from more than 15 countries, the world’s best upcoming athletes will compete for their chance at glory. Spectators near and far are invited to the base of Ablittkopfbahn Gondola to enjoy prime viewing and great performances.
