Held on the castle grounds this festive extravaganza will be bursting at the seams with Christmas ambience on three Sundays during Advent Season. Enjoy a wonderful day out for the whole family as you experience the sights, sounds and smells of a town and castle preparing for Christmas days of old. Beginning at 2:00pm, an offering of traditional activities will keep the whole family entertained. The festive and artistic-inspired entertainment with candles, torches and open fires sets the scene and mood.
The Advent Program at Landeck Castle
- December 08, 2019: Oberland Advent for little ones, featuring a Christmas crèche making workshop, shadow theatre and wind playing at the castle courtyard (around 6:00pm).
- December 15, 2019: Handicraft and folk art with carvers, Christmas crèche builders, glass artists and herbalists.
- December 22, 2019: Folk music groups perform Christmas carols, readings and wind playing.
