Consisting of six iconic distances, the 6th Mayrhofen Ultraks blends the pure values of trail running with one of the most spectacular mountain sceneries you can find, the high-alpine terrain of Upper Zillertal Valley.
On September 06, and 07, 2024, elite and recreational participants get to experience an unforgettable trail experience with close-ups of dominant Three-Thousanders named Ahornspitze, Kolm, Grindberg and Tristner. The 2024 Mayrhofen Ultraks features six distances: “Sprint” for young adults and those new to the sport (7K, 350m vertical gain); “MUZ14” to inspire new trail runners to surpass their expectations (14.5K, 900m vertical gain); “MUZ30” for advanced trail runners (30.3K; 2,000m vertical gain) and “RK50” to drive seasoned runners to new limits (50K, 3,200m vertical gain). Again this year are two super long and super demanding routes for athletes who want to show off their prowess in a mettle-testing, muscle-busting run: “TUX070” (70K; 4,000m vertical gain) and “Z101” (101K, 8,800m vertical gain). Moreover, we’re once again excited to welcome future trail runners to a fun kid’s event, the “Mini Ultraks” (600 meters to 2.4K).
Beginning and ending in the heart of Mayrhofen on September 07, 2024, the Ultraks sends runners through and around Upper Zillertal Valley’s unmistakable high-alpine terrain. The ultimately demanding Z101 race starts in the evening of September 06, 2024. Spectators can come out and cheer on their favourite athletes along the course or follow the competitions on a big screen in the start and finish area. There will be a varied entertainment program. Moreover, the Mayrhofen gondolas bring spectators to the best viewing locations.
