Perchten Run and Saint Nicholas Parade in Kundl

Kundl, 05.12.2024

Each year, St. Nicholas and his entourage of devilish creatures called "Perchten” and "Krampus" come to Kundl on the evening of December 05, bringing sweet gifts to the well-behaved little girls and boys.

The St. Nicholas parade in Kundl begins at 5:30pm on December 05, 2024. Suited in red, St. Nicholas and his entourage of angels brings sweet gifts to the well-behaved little girls and boys. As you have been good all year anyway, you have nothing to worry about -- right??!! Large, foreboding, black-clad and antlers on their heads, these devilish figures are called “Peaschtlpassen” in Kundl. Led by witches, they will roam the streets of the village center for four hours from 6:00pm onwards.
