Tirol’s capital Innsbruck is surrounded by awesome beauty of nature, with lofty peaks and summits as far as the eye can see. Dedicated to the conscious treatment of nature and the environment, the festival is packed with ideas of how everyone can take action for nature. There will be related lectures and panel talks with experts and scientsts, organized by the University of Innsbruck, along with art projects and workshops. Locally sourced food will feature on the menus of participating restaurants.
At the heart of the festival will be international film competition, which is now in its 22nd year. In total, 260 films from 51 different nations have been submitted. The nominated films will be screened at Metropol Cinema in Innsbruck.
