This celebration of Kiachl, a traditional Tirol staple, goes right to the source, taking place where it is said to originate — in Hall. This tempting dish is either eaten savoury or sweet and there’s plenty of family fun to be had!
This event is your best chance to taste of the pride of Hall —a traditional fried yeast dough pastry that is fried in boiling lard. Served savoury with sauerkraut, porcini mushroom sauce or French Provençal Ratatouille, or sweet with cranberry jam or stewed plums, it’s the star of this show. The Hall Kiachl Festival is held for the 19th time on September 09, 2024, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Hall Bindertanzgesellschaft is performing throughout the festival, adding a fun, live soundtrack and folk dancing to the festivities. Traditional live music and an array of kids’ activities round out the festival fun.
