In mid-January, embrace winter by celebrating cross-country skiing at the Introductory Days to Nordic Skiing in Gschnitztal! Skiers of all abilities & ages are invited to try out the sport with free rental equipment, free lessons and fun.
Join us at the Introductory Days to Nordic Skiing in mid-January at remote, scenic and snow sure Gschnitztal Valley, a side valley of Wipptal Valley. It’s two fun days full of activities for skiers of all capabilities and ages. Nordic ski equipment rentals are available for free at Feuerstein Inn. Moreover, all cross country skiers are invited to participate in skiing skills lessons and waxing tuition. Kids can test their skills on an exhilarating obstacle course.
Between Trins and Steinach am Brenner, Gschnitztal Valley boasts some 40 kilometers of immaculately groomed cross country ski tracks for classic and skate style skiing. Most of the tracks are rated easy to intermediate, making Gschnitztal Valley a perfect place for novices. What’s best, skiing the tracks is free!
