For the second time, Hochgurgl in Ötztal Valley will host Ski World Cup events with a ladies’ and men’s slalom in November that will as well mark the start of the new winter season.
Just a few weeks after the opening of the Alpine Ski World Cup season in the neighbouring resort of Sölden, it will be both the women’s and men's turn to take their shot at Hochgurgl, which hosts its second World Alpine Ski Cup event. The first World Cup Slalom of the new season will be hosted on Kirchenkarpiste course, which is filled with steep and tight terrain, meaning the racers will need to be at their absolute best to navigate the course. The women’s slalom takes place on Saturday, followed by the men’s slalom on Sunday. The fans can watch the action live and cheer up their favorites right from the finish area at Top Mountain Crosspoint.
The racing weekend will as well kick-off the 2024-2025 winter season in Gurgl, beginning on November 14, 2024.
