In March, the 4th European Winter Walking Days will take place in Pillerseetal Valley amid the Kitzbühel Alps. For four days, avid walkers can explore the best of winter wonderland through a series of guided walks.
The 2023 European Winter Walking Days are a wonderful opportunity to take in the beauty of the scenic environs of Pillerseetal Valley and the surrounding Kitzbühel Alps through a series of guided walks for all abilities on four days. The area is a true gem for wintry walks and the program includes a tour along the Biathlon World Championship Track to Hoametzl Hut, a nightly torchlight walk to Lauchsee Lake or a guided tour of the walk-in Jacob’s Cross atop the summit of Buchensteinwand. Tours will be offered for all abilities. The Winter Walking Days will be officially kicked-off with an opening ceremony at the village center of Fieberbrunn on March 09, 2023 at 6:30pm, accompanied by live music and Tirolean signature dishes.
