The grand cattle drive in Hintertux is again held in conjunction with the October Fest. Join us for a farmer’s market, live folk music and to share in the wonderful Tirolean traditions.
The Hintertux October Fest will be opened at 7:30pm with live music and DJ sounds.
Festivities begin at 10:00am with a farmer’s market where you can buy fresh and local goods. Dancing and live music by “Die jungen Höllnstoana” folklore group and “Kasermandl Duo” is scheduled to start by noon. The Zillertal wind ensemble will perform at 1:00pm. At the same time, the cows will be decorated with headdresses and bells. The herds are expected to arrive at the festivity area around 2:00pm.
Those who want to continue the party after 7:00pm are invited to join the October Fest at the marquee. There will also be a dance floor so bring your dancing shoes! The “Sumpfkröten” band will be playing and DJs will spin the turntables after 11:00pm.
