The 47th Banff Mountain Festival World Tour brings the best films from the world’s most prestigious mountain film festival to audiences around the globe, with stops in Innsbruck and Wörgl.
In its 47th year, the world’s most prestigious mountain film festival is coming to Innsbruck’s Metropol Cinema on April 27, 2024, and to Wörgl’s Climbing Gym on April 28, 2024, with a brand new selection of extraordinary short films from the world’s leading adventure filmmakers. Through the big screen, follow the expeditions of some of today’s most incredible adventurers, such as spelunkers Katie Graham und Franck Tuot on their multi-day tour to the deepest caves of British Columbia. Experience French climber’s Sébastien Bouin first ascent in the Verdon Gorge up close and personal in the 23-minute film “Reel Rock: DNA”. Join Kilian Bron on his journey across North America—by mountain bike, of course—and away from bike parks and rutted-out trails.
