If you think that the only fine chocolate comes from Switzerland and Belgium, then think again. Hans Gerhard Pichler from Sillian produces some of the best hand-made chocolate you will find anywhere. Yet these delicate and often exotic creations are still somewhat of an insider tip in the fine chocolate scene, with only a few select stores such as Rajsigl in Innsbruck and Witte’s at the Naschmarkt market in Vienna stocking these sweet treats.
As well as fine chocolate, Hans Gerhard and his wife Petra Pichler also run a traditional bakery and patisserie as well as a coffee house and bread & breakfast.
