The "Waldweiher Fließ" is a small lake in the middle of a big forest in the TirolWest region. It irrigates the meadows to the east of Fließ and is the perfect place to relax on a hot summer’s day.
Indeed, the lake is so peaceful that all of a sudden you will find yourself hearing noises normally drowned out such as birdsong and leaves gently rustling in the wind. Though the quality of the water is excellent, swimmers should be aware that the high altitude of the lake often means that it is relatively cold – perhaps better for a refreshing paddle than a full-on plunge. The only way to access the lake is via a walking path (Nr. 9). Visitors coming by car should drive towards Gacher Blick and park at the first right-hand bend in the road after leaving the village. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the lake on foot.
