The Stubaier Gesundheitssee (literally Lake of Health) is a lake in the sunny village of Milders situated in the grounds of the hotel Zum Holzknecht but open to the general public.
The Stubaier Gesundheitssee is fed with natural spring water revitalised using the Grander technique before being released into the lake. The theme of health and fitness continues around the lake in the form of “calorie steps”, a panorama carousel, a stretching area and a foot massage bar.
After so much exercise, why not lie down and relax on the large sunbathing lawn? This grassy area blends into the surroundings and features a number of specially designed platforms and recliners for visitors to recharge their batteries in the heart of nature.
Early in the swimming season, in May, the water is warmed slightly, though in summer the water can reach up to 26°C. There is also a winter garden for those days when the sun isn’t shining.
