Schnadigen is a hamlet near the village of Kauns in the Tiroler Oberland region. While it does not have a lake of its own, it does have a swimming pond known as the Schnadiger Weiher.
The Schnadiger Weiher is first and foremost used to irrigate the land around the Hohe Aifnerspitze mountain, but in summer it is also popular with walkers and hikers wishing to cool off after a day out and about in the Alps. It is also good for fishing and has a large rainbow trout population. Fishing permits are available from the Lenz family in Kaunerberg. Visitors arriving by car can park at the car park near the pond and walk the last ten minutes along a wide path suitable for buggies and pushchairs. Access to the lake is free of charge all year round.
