The Villgraten Nature House is open for visitors to enjoy and to learn about sheep farming in Tirol, including the production of fine-quality, all-natural sheep wool products. Year-round, the ewes and lambs of Josef Schett are allowed to roam wide, rich Alpine pastures above the idyllic mountain village of Innervillgraten, at an elevation of 2,000 meters. In the clean and crisp mountain air, the herds graze upon tender, naturally available meadow herbage at their leisure, choosing the foods they want to eat and drinking the finest natural water available. At the Villgraten Nature House visitors can select from a delightful array of finest sheep and local products, from sheep wool mattresses and covers, cushions and blankets to finest food, beds and bowls made of local stone pine wood, toys, body care products and insulation materials.
