This enchanting canyon in Feichten with its stepped waterfall provides an experience for all the senses.
Visitors with a head for heights should venture out onto the hanging bridge spanning the canyon. Far below, meltwater from the mountains rushes down into the valley. Behind you lies the stepped waterfall, while up ahead is the village of Feichten. A series of walking trails, steps, a viewing platform and, of course, the hangign bridge itself, make this wonderful natural phenomenon easily accessible. It can be combined with a walk along the "Knappensteig" trail (once used by miners) to the "Adlerblick" viewing platform. Those with strong legs and good fitness levels can continue on to the Verpeilalm or the Verpeilhütte, two huts further up in the mountains. The trail is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, though wheelchair users will need towing equipment or a second person to help them.
