What is the “Tauern Window”? How do animals and plants survive at 3,000 meters above sea level? Where did the first tourists in the Zillertal Valley come from? These and many other questions are answered in the nature park house in the pretty village of Ginzling. The Glacier.Worlds exhibition invites visitors of all ages to get involved, have a go themselves and learn all about this fascinating alpine habitat. The exhibition is highly recommended for families with children. The hands-on experience exhibition space shares the building with the administrative headquarters of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park along with a regional library specialising in the Alpine environment. The library has a wide selection of maps, hiking guide books and rock climbing guide books.
