A Murmli Rodeo, panning for gold and an opportunity to observe marmots in the wild! This adventure playground all about marmots, cute and curious rodents native to the Alps, gives children and teenagers the chance to learn about these alpine animals in a fun, hands-on way.
The marmot (a rock-dwelling rodent), is what gave a number of attractions and the mascot of Serfaus its name: 'Murmli' in German. The Murmli Water Park is an interactive 15,000-square-metre adventure playground that is truly one of its kind. Children of all ages can't resist the magic of water – and who really cares if the kids get a little wet and muddy in the process? Certainly not the parents, who'd secretly like to join in the fun at the interactive games park. There's channels and chutes and pumps. There's bridges and tunnels and fountains. There's wheels to turn and pools filled with sand and mud. We recommend that parents bring along towels and a change of clothes for their children. Afterwards, take a memorable walk along the Murmli Trail that takes little and big explorers through a secluded forest with plenty of magnificent surprises and experiences waiting along the way. Children will learn about “Murmli”, the little marmot that is the mascot of Serfaus. Keep your eyes peeled – you will walk through the 200-metre-long tunnel system of a marmot den, providing insights into the hidden world of these chubby rodents.
