Galitzen Gorge Waterfall Trail

Trillions of gallons of water are forced into this accelerating trough—the sight will take your breath away! Tumbling over cliffs and down steep-sided ravines, waterfalls add a delightful extra dimension to this walk along mighty rock faces. The rock bridge offers amazing views of lofty Lienz Dolomites Range. A stone ball mill demonstrates the “grinding” power of water. A 210-meter long via ferrata allows breathtaking views of the gorge. It takes about one hour to complete; climbing gear is available for rental. Little ones will love the adventure playground, a one of a kind play area that allows kids to create their own play adventure. The creative formula includes stone, wood and water.
