St. Moritz (CH)

A small municipality in the Engadin valley in Switzerland, which is primarily known as a luxury holiday resort.

Description

The small municipality lies at an altitude of 1,822 metres and is located in the canton of Graubünden.

St. Moritz has already hosted the Winter Olympics twice. There is an ice channel, a world championship bobsleigh track made of natural ice and an outdoor Olympic ice rink, as well as cross-country ski trails and numerous ski areas.

From Landeck, the route follows the Reschenbundesstraße via Pfunds, Scuol, past Tarasp Castle through Engading to St. Moritz. The excursion takes the same route back to Landeck.
