Schobertreck - Stage 1
The first stage between Seichenbrunn in Nussdorf-Debant and the day's destination involves 11 kilometers and almost 1,800 meters of ascent. The overnight accommodation Wangenitzseehütte is located at 2,508 meters, but the mountain enthusiasts first tackle another three-thousand-meter peak: the Petzeck at 3,283 meters is also the highest point of the entire tour. Then it's back to the hut for a relaxing evening.
The first stage starts at the Seichenbrunn parking lot. From here, the route leads to the Wangenitzseehütte, from where hikers can tackle the Petzeck (3,283 m) after a refreshment stop.
