Description

From Arlberg WellCom through the village park in a westerly direction - at the roundabout turn right up the Alte Arlbergstraße to the main road, cross the road then drive left into Verwalltal. Follow the asphalt road past the Stiegeneck Chapel, turn right at the next junction towards the Maroital. (The route straight ahead is easier and shorter and leads to the Rosanna bridge at the Wagner hut, cross this and immediately turn left). Cross the Arlenbach stream, turn left at the next fork (straight on to Maroital No. 775) to the Verwallsee lake - on the north shore to the Salzhütte hut - over the bridge and on the south shore to the next Rosanna bridge, before the bridge straight on to the Sattelwaldweg trail around the Sattelkopf. After a short stretch over the Moostalbach stream, then steeply uphill to the "Bildstöckli" and along the Moostalweg trail out of the valley to the old Rendlbahn railway and on to the Arlberg WellCom.
