This long valley stretching from Zell am Ziller and the Gerlos Pass has plenty to offer – swimming lakes, a zipwire, a climbing area, a wooden castle and even a gold mine!
Hang on tight! The "Almflieger" is a zipwire high above the ground where visitors can whizz down into the valley at speeds of up to 50 kilometres an hour. Those who are in search of speed but prefer to keep their feet on the ground will prefer the "Arena Coaster", a kind of single-seater rollercoaster with a handbrake you can pull on if things get too fast. The Hochseilgarten Gerlos is an outdoor adventure area with rope swings and treetop platforms to test your nerves. After all that action, why not cool off with a dip in the beautiful lake Durlaßbodenstausee with its crystal-clear water and water-based activities such as boating, windsurfing and diving. The "Braukunsthaus" in Zell gives visitors an insight into how the famous local beer is brewed, while the Schaubergwerk Hainzenberg is a former gold mine and now a museum.
