Famous for hikers and climbing in summer, the Wilder Kaiser region is home in winter to one of Austria's largest ski resorts: the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental.
The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is a huge ski network connecting nine villages in the Wilder Kaiser region. As well skiing and snowboarding there is cross-country skiing and even night skiing on offer under the floodlights. During the day families can split up in the resort before meeting up again in the evening to tell each other about everything they have experienced. The ski pistes may not be the highest in Tirol, but a comprehensive network of snow cannons ensures excellent conditions on the slopes throughout the season.
