Thigh-burning climbs or easy cruising? Tux-Finkenberg has a large network of mountain bike trails catering for all fitness levels. The views of the 3,000-metre-high mountains in the Tux Alps are breathtaking.
The region around Tux-Finkenberg is known as one of the most beautiful anywhere in Tirol. Mountain bikers will find easy riding along the floor of the Tuxer Tal Valley between the Zillertal Alps and the Tux Alps as well as along the Zemmtal Valley south of Finkenberg, all the way up to the Schlegeisstausee reservoir at the end of the valley. Fit families can take on some of the more challenging rides across the lush meadows and pastures in the region. Keep your eye out for a few marmots! E-bike riders will enjoy the climb up to the Bichlalm hut near Hintertux. Advanced and expert riders can test their fitness on the ascent of the Geiseljoch mountain above Tux. Last but certainly not least, the challenging ride at the end of the valley onto the Tuxer Joch is hard work but well worth it for the amazing views of the Tux Glacier and the 3,476-metre-high Olperer mountain.
