One, two, three, four, five! For a region this remote the Tannheimer Tal Valley has a surprisingly large number of ski resorts to choose from. All of the ski areas here are relatively small, making them ideal for families.
The Tannheimer Tal Valley may not have any blockbuster ski resorts, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in numbers. The largest of the five small resorts in the region is Zöblen-Schattwald, which connects the two villages of the same name in the west of the valley. The pistes here stretch up to 1,570 metres above sea level between the Wannenjoch and Rohnenspitze mountains. In nearby Nesselwängle there are a number of slopes on the Krinnenspitze mountain. Just a stone's throw away is the Neunerköpfle resort. Last but by no means least, there are also ski pistes in Jungholz and on the Füssener Jöchle mountain above the Haldensee lake.
