Skiing in the Stubai Valley

A mix of family-friendly pistes and challenging black runs make the four ski resorts in the Stubai Valley great for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. The largest resort is on the Stubai Glacier, where breathtaking views await.

The Stubai Valley is a safe bet when it comes to winter holidays. There are four resorts in this region to the south of Innsbruck, the largest of which is on the Stubai Glacier at the end of the valley. Thanks to its high altitude the snow conditions remain excellent into late spring. The highest slopes are at an impressive 3,210 metres above sea level. Easy slopes for beginners, intermediate runs for cruisers, challenging pistes for experts and funparks for freestylers mean there is something for everyone. Schlick 2000 near Fulpmes is nice for families and is close to the start of the valley, just 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck. Nearby Mieders at the foot of the mighty Serles mountain has a small resort with easy and intermediate runs, while the Elferlifte in Neustift has several long runs from the top of the resort all the way down into the valley.
