Water, meadows, mountains, ic, snow and plenty of charming villages make the Stubai Valley a haven for guests in both summer and winter. This region famous for its glacier offers both action and relaxation in equal measures.
The Stubai Valley is most famous for its glacier, which stands high and mighty at the end of the valley. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy the excellent snow conditions here through until late spring, though many guests travel up to the Top of Tyrol platform simply to enjoy the view and pay a visit to the nearby underground Ice Grotto. Further highlights down in the valley include a giant wooden mammoth, an obstacle course high above the ground, and the Treehouse Trail in Fulpmes. Families will love the single-seater rollercoaster open in summer in the village of Mieders at the foot of the mighty Serles mountain. Don't forget to check out the thundering Grawa Waterfall – where visitors can lie back on wooden recliners and let the spray cool them in summer. There is also a birds of prey centre in Telfes. Last but not least, autumn is a great time of year to explore the Telfer Wiesen meadows on foot.
