With its 142 kilometres of well-maintained winter hiking paths, this snowy plateau to the north-west of Innsbruck is one of the most popular destinations for visitors who enjoy snowshoeing and winter hiking as much as skiing and snowboarding.
Gentle hiking, fabulous views, clean mountain air – welcome to the perfect day in the Seefeld Region! Highlights away from the pistes include romantic horse-drawn carriage rides through the winter landscape as well as husky and llama hikes.
Tip! This winter sees Seefeld open Tirol's first multi-day winter hike. Taking walkers through the Leutaschtal Valley and the Wildmoos nature reserve, this four-day adventure along well-maintained trails passes forests, meadows, huts and restaurants. A luggage transport service is offered between the huts where hikers stay the night. Guided four-day hikes are available during the following period: 10 January 2021 until 10 March 2022 (Monday-Thursday). Seefeld tourist information, +43.508800, info@seefeld.com, www.seefeld.com
