The Seefeld Region is excellent for family cycling adventures and e-mountain bike rides. Advanced and expert riders will find plenty of challenging terrain Seefeld Region – and wherever you go, the views are spectacular.
Be it the Wetterstein Mountains, the Mieming Mountains or the Karwendel Mountains, the region around Seefeld is a haven for mountain bikers. The landscape here north of Innsbruck is characterised by lush meadows and quiet valleys. One of the most popular rides is from Ehrwald to Scharnitz through the undulating terrain of the Gaistal Valley. A little more challenging is the route up to the idyllic Seebensee lake. It's pretty hard work, but the views up at the top make it all worthwhile. The riding in and around the Seefeld ski resort is no easier – for example, the 9km ride with 525 vertical metres of climbing up to the Rosshütte. If circular rides are your kind of thing, check out the route around Mieming Mountains. It is ideal for e-bikes and takes in the beautifully sunny Mieming Plateau. Families and beginners will find easy riding in the Leutaschtal Valley with its gravel and tarmac trails along the banks of the Leutascher Ache river.
