The Lechtal Valley is dominated by the Lech river, but there are plenty of other attractions in the region such as an XXL hanging bridge, a single-seater mini rollercoaster, a quiet gorge and a twisting mountain road.
Visitors to the region keen to visit the hanging bridge near Holzgau should leave their vertigo at home! This 200-metre-long construction offers great views of the region but demands nerves of steel if you want to look down into the Hölltalschlucht gorge 45 metres below. Families will enjoy the single-seater mini rollercoaster Wally-Blitz in Elbigenalp, where riders reach speeds up to 40km/h as they wind their way down the mountain. Just as twisting and turning, albeit somewhat longer, is the road up and over the Hahntennjoch pass.
