The Kaiserwinkl Region has three golf courses, all of which offers players magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains with their jagged peaks.
The Golfclub Kaiserwinkl is known for its narrow but flat fairways demanding a clean, straight drive for a good score. The 18-hole course at the Golfclub Reit im Winkl-Kössen is an international affair with two thirds of the holes located over the border in neighbouring Bavaria, while the remaining holes and the clubhouse are in Tirol. The Kaiser Mountains and the Chiemgau Alps provide a suitably spectacular backdrop. Last but not least, the 9-hole course at the Golfclub Walchsee-Moarhof is near a large area of wetland known as the "Schwemm" and offers excellent terrain for those wishing to work on their game. Non-members are also welcome.
