Wintersports enthusiasts holidaying in the Alpbachtal Valley will find themselves drawn to the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal-Wildschönau with its huge network of ski pistes suitable for skiers of all ages, including beginners and children.
The two main ski and snowboard hotspots in the Alpbachtal Valley are the Gmahkopf and the Reither Kogel mountains, both of which are popular with families and advanced skiers alike. Plenty of blue and red pistes cater for children, beginners and those coming back to the sport after a while away. The FIS race piste on the Gmahkopf mountain, near the Wiedersbergerhorn peak, is a place where advanced and expert skiers can test their skills. Freestylers and snowboarders can dial in their tricks in the funpark and on the funslope.
