The small municipality of Tösens is home to 700 residents and lies in a beautiful location in the west of the Inntal Valley, surrounded by lush meadows and craggy peaks.
Untouched nature and a friendly welcome make Tösens the ideal destination for both outdoor enthusiasts and those in search of peace and quiet. The best way to explore the landscape with its many idyllic lakes is on foot using the network of hiking trails. Mountainbikers will also find plenty of well-signposted routes leading up to the peaks. The nearby village of Pfunds is the starting point for many rafting adventures into the canyon near Tösens, while in winter there are no fewer than three family-friendly ski resorts in the area: Nauders, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and Ried-Fendels-Prutz. The "Ski6" lift pass is ideal for advanced skiers and snowboarders. It covers the six ski resorts in the "Dreiländereck" region between Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Down in the valley there are also cross-country skiing trails, ski touring options and toboggan runs.
